Description:

For temporary relief of pain caused by recurrent mouth ulcers, denture irritation and teething. Anbesol liquid contains lidocaine hydrochloride, a local anaesthetic which works by stopping the sensation felt by pain.

Important Usage Instructions:

As with all medicines keep out of reach and sight of children. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Do not exceed the stated dose. If your symptoms persist for longer than 7 days consult your doctor or pharmacist

Ingredients:

Topical liquid containing: Lidocaine hydrochloride 0.9% w/w, Cetylpyridinium chloride 0.02% w/w, Chlorocresol 0.1% w/w. Also contains: Ethyl alcohol (96%), menthol, glycerin, caramel colouring (E110, E104, E123, E142) and purified water

Side Effects:

As with most medicines, Anbesol liquid can occasionally cause side-effects. If you experience the following or any other side effects then stop using th medicine and seek medical advice. Reported side effects include suffering from mouth ulcers after using oral medicines containing cetylpyridinium chloride.
