Do not exceed the stated dose. If your baby does overdose it is not likely to cause problems unless more than a tube of gel is consumed. In either case consult medical advice. If symptoms persist for more than seven days consult your doctor or dentist. If your baby is allergic to any of the ingredients do not give them the gel.

Gel containing: Lidocaine hydrochloride 1.0% w/w, Cetylpyridinium chloride 0.02%, Chlorocresol 0.1 % w/w. Also contains: Alcohol, Clove Oil, Glycerin, Hydroxypropyl Cellulose, Sodium Saccharin, Colourant E1 24, Water.

Anbesol teething gel is unlikely to cause side effects although it may not suit everyone. If you or your child experience any side effects stop using the gel and seek medical advice. Reported side effects include ulceration.
