| Description: |
Each tablet is pink coloured, biconvex and has Celevac marked on one face and a breakline on the other.
The active ingredient in these tablets, methylcellulose, is a simple bulking agent which also ocuurs naturally. The tablets work by absorbing water and increasing in size to make bulk in the stomach or bowels. this action helps to restore normal bowel funtion in both constipation and diarrhoea. It can also give a feeling of fullness which can help to reduce your appetite for food. |

| Important Usage Instructions: |
|
Do not take Celevac Tablets if you:
- are hypersensitive (allergic) to methylcellulose or anyof the ingredients in Celevac tablets
- have difficulty in swallowing
- have been told by a doctor that you are at risk of suffering from bowel obstruction, faecal impaction, or colonic atony (weak bowel)
- have diarhoea with a high fever and/or blood in the stools
- have severe dehydration
This medicine should not be taken shortly before going to bed.
When taking this medicine to treat diarrhoea, avoid drinking fluids for 30 minutes before and after each dose. This is also the case when taking this medicine for colostomy or ileostomy control.
When taking the dose should be taken with at least 300ml of liquid.

| Ingredients: |

This medicine contains 500mg of the active substance methylcellulose. The other ingedients are lactose monohydrate, saccharin sodium, povidone, erythrosine (E127), strawberry flavour , talc and magnesium stearate.

| Side Effects: |
|
Like all medicines, Celevac tablets can have side effects. At the usual dose, Celevac tablets should not cause any problems. Flatulence, stomach bloating, abdominal cramps or stomach ache, or an allergic reaction (such as skin rash) may occur in some patients.
