Description:

Ethyl chloride (Cryogesic) is a fast-acting vapo-coolant spray that provides rapid, transient, topical analgesia for minor invasive procedures.

The analgesic effect is almost instant because rapid evaporation of ethyl chloride causes cooling and numbing of the skin. This effect last for about 30 - 45 seconds until the skin re-warms, but will vary depending upon circumstances.

Briefly spray the area requiring analgesia until a thin snow film forms (short bursts of spray rather than a continuous flow is usually better). Do not spray on open wounds. Do not overcool the skin by prolonged spraying as this may cause frostbite. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking.

Important Usage Instructions:

Please note that Cryogesic has no anaesthetic properties but rather works as a vapo-coolant and therefore may be useful for people who are allergic to topical anaesthetics.

Do not spray on the face use only in well ventilated areas do not breathe vapours avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of the reach of children. Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 20c.
